01 / ABOUT

Hi, I’m Ralph.

I’m researching quantum computing at Royal Holloway, University of London, following a first-class master’s degree in theoretical physics from Lancaster University.

I’ve enjoyed helping students achieve A*s in physics and progress to their chosen universities. I combine a strong mathematical background with enthusiasm for physics to help students develop understanding for themselves.

02 / MY APPROACH

A deeper understanding builds a better foundation.

Understanding over memorisation

Understanding principles rather than memorising methods helps students adapt to unfamiliar problems. I focus on building strong foundations, encouraging students to question not just what they know, but why it works.

Personalised learning

Every student has different goals, strengths and areas for improvement. Together, we focus on what matters most to them, in a way that works best for them.

Confidence through problem-solving

Physics and Maths are, at their heart, an endeavour to solve problems. We'll work through carefully selected problems designed to challenge students, encourage questions and create opportunities for learning.
